Tape and Jointing Here at PB Drylining, we can offer you a first rate tape and jointing service.
The tape and jointing system is used for the seamless jointing of tapered edge boards to walls and ceilings. Jointing of all flat, internal and external corner joints is achieved with the application of two coats of joint filler and one coat of joint cement to leave a smooth finish ready for decoration.
This means for faster setting and drying times, obviously permitting quicker decoration. Only a small amount of material is required on site compared to wet plaster.
The process is multi-staged and involves bedding the tape after the joint filler has been applied. This must be done correctly and evenly requiring a great deal of expertise. The joint cement then blends the joints into the wall, covering the tape.
This is followed by a finer topcoat with a trowel. Then it is rubbed down with a sanding block and coated with sealer.
In addition to our tape and jointing services in the UK we utilise suspended ceilings, plasterboard ceilings, advanced dot and dab techniques, all which complement our overall drylining and drywalling services. We have erected walls and partitions in various commercial locations making us an ideal choice for an office refit or a café refurbishment. So, if you are looking for tape and jointing companies in England, UK, then give us a call today.
